I am an artist keen to explore nature's patterns.
The important values of my work are colour, organic pattern, intricacy and decoration.
I grew up surrounded by the rural valleys. I take inspiration from my local landscape, pairing this with the rich indulgent style of Victorian and Edwardian decoration to create delicate, and embellished pieces.
I am an admirer of nature’s delicacy. The significant values of my work are intricacy, pattern and organic decoration. These aesthetics resonate within my body of work, as I portrays the fragility and transitory merits held within flora.
My work captures a fleeting moment. Depicting the beauty of nature's fragility and ethereal essence. It holds the passing splendor of a life cycle rather than offering answers.
I describe myself as an artist because I love to create, however my passion is teaching art.
I am keen to share my specialist ceramic knowledge and experience with others.
